Even in private reading, the Bible is a type of prayer. My suggestion is that you either use another app or pay to get rid of the advertisements. I immediately erased it from my mini pad and only temporarily reinstalled to write this review. I quickly slammed the mini pad closed but it didn’t stop right away and I had to run out of the Chapel to turn it off. This morning at Exposition and prayer in Chapel, with several others present, I was reading Isaiah when suddenly there was loud screaming shrieking and noise coming from an ad for a game (these are usually the loudest and rarely on serious apps) in which the heroine needed to be saved. Several have quiet advertising banners at the foot of the page. I’ve not needed a “Catholic” version because many apps include them but I downloaded this one.
